Placemat/layout design created to celebrate the 244th Birthday of the US Army on 14 June 2019, and the 75th anniversary of D-Day. This year's them was "Answering the Call to Service". The design is for 1 out of 5 placemats created as a series that showcases the Army's service and the significance of D-Day in 1945 to today's Army.
Gold and black(the main colors of the official Army logo) were used and placed on top of mostly monochromatic backgrounds to showcase the significance of the birthday celebration. Each design contains a different "Did You Know Fact" related to D-Day.
The placemats were printed throughout Europe and(as a series) were placed in every Army dining facility on the continent.
