The Family Day event, has a long history going back to 1975 and is hosted by the Director of the National Security Agency (NSA)/Chief, Central Security Service (CSS) to celebrate Agency employees and their families. In 2019, the United States Cyber Command was added to the event, representing the NSA Director’s dual leadership role. 2023 marked the 8th Family Day Event. This unique event, held in May 2023, brought personnel and their families together in Agency spaces to get a glimpse of the inner workings of the Agency through demonstrations, exhibits, and displays. The Family Day 2023 Event Mark, with the theme of “Together In Mission” was designed with the word FAMILY framed with blue hues of abstract waves that convey cohesion, forward motion and progress. Mission focused graphic icons and family silhouettes were directly incorporated into the FAMILY text conveying the “Together” portion of the theme. This mark was used throughout the event on a vast array of products across the enterprise. This project was created using Adobe Illustrator.
