Starting Jan. 1, 2021, TRICARE Young Adult (TYA) Prime and Select premiums will increase. By law, TYA enrollees must pay premiums that represent the full cost of the program. These costs have risen, so TYA premiums are increasing for 2021.
There are options. TYA enrollees can change plans between TYA Prime and Select, or research other health care plan options and costs including through healthcare.gov.
