Service members in training who choose to stay and celebrate the holidays at Fort Leonard Wood have events scheduled throughout the two-weeks to keep them entertained.
The Army will continue its annual holiday tradition of pausing basic training and Advanced Individual Training during the holiday season. Trainees have the option to leave basic training and AIT for the two-week holiday period, providing an opportunity to reconnect these young Soldiers with their families and to share their Army story with the public and their communities.
