      USCGC Vincent Danz (WPC 1162) is named for Vincent Danz — a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, New York City Police Department Emergency Services Unit officer, and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve Port Security Specialist 2nd Class who gave his life on Sept.11, 2001, responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center.
