1194th Engineer Company conducts pre-mobilization training for AT-15
1194th Engineer Company meets adversity head onThe 1194th Vertical Engineer Company has completed yet another Annual Training (AT). As opposed to a usual AT event spent conducting construction operations, a deployment looms in the not too distant future and the unit exceeded the standard in preparation. They spent two weeks of vigorous training at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.

Nationwide Move 15 showcases unique, historic, multi-component ocean-transport missionAs day breaks and the sun peeks through the clouds here, a huge gray ship, unlike any of the others in the port, is slowly maneuvering its way to the dock where an array of Soldiers, Coast Guardsmen, dock workers, local fire fighters and law enforcement teams are poised and ready to greet it. This special ship is one of only a handful in the Army’s arsenal and its unique mission here August 22 was a historic one.

Senior Leader Course helps military engineers construct a path to successIt's day two of the two-week Horizontal Construction Engineers Senior Leader Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and soldiers from across the country are gathered at a multi-purpose bridge site taking measurements and working on calculating the rapid classification of fixed bridges on this humid August afternoon. They've been up since 5 a.m., having already taken their required Army Physical Fitness Test, and these students are excited to be out of the classroom, taking advantage of the opportunity for some hands-on training out in the field as they learn how to become more proficient in supervisory roles in their military jobs.

3-112 live fires M777A2 and M119A3 howitzersSoldiers are initiated into the military during basic combat training. They are galvanized as warriors and leaders through their training with the resolve that they can be all that they can be.
