Like a dragonfly
Like a dragonflyDuring the summer in South Korea it is the best weather for dragonflies. As the sun gets hotter, the butterflies that flourished during the spring time fade, and dragonflies take over the grass. If you take a walk down the flight line on Camp Humphreys, you will see dozens of dragonflies, dancing around the aircraft. If you look up the sky, the chances that you will see an OH-58 Kiowa helicopter are as often as you will the dragonflies.

101st receives second highest unit award for mission in Liberia
Gen. Rodriguez speaks during JMUA presentationThe 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) was awarded the Joint Meritorious Unit Award by the commanding general of U.S. Africa Command, Gen. David M. Rodriquez, during a ceremony held in the division headquarters building here Aug. 27. The JMUA is the second highest award a unit can receive.


1194th Engineer Company conducts pre-mobilization training for AT-15
1194th Engineer Company meets adversity head onThe 1194th Vertical Engineer Company has completed yet another Annual Training (AT). As opposed to a usual AT event spent conducting construction operations, a deployment looms in the not too distant future and the unit exceeded the standard in preparation. They spent two weeks of vigorous training at Camp Atterbury, Indiana.
