WIESBADEN, Germany - 191 Soldiers from six nations assembled from across Europe, fighting to earn an Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) in Grafenwoehr, Germany. The EFMB was designed as a special skill award for recognition of exceptional competence and outstanding performance by field medical personnel and approved by the Department of the Army in June 1965.
