The Air Traffic Control Tower at Edwards Air Force Base has one of the most unique and diverse missions of any tower in the U.S. Air Force. Edwards is where the Air Force tests its aircraft, both old and new, and trains its next generation of test pilots. And that can add up to 300-plus air traffic control operations a day over 23 operational runways.
