Rashawn BoykinWeb Developer
Rashawn Boykin is a 2003 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he received a B.S. degree in Business with a major in Computer Information Systems. As a student there he worked on campus as a PHP Web Developer/WebCT Administrator, supporting professors and staff at the Center for Excellence in Teaching. While at the C.E.T he was recognized for developing a web-based PHP registration system for Georgia Southern University, which was selected as an award-winning project that was presented to Governor Sonny Perdue and fellow state legislators in January 2004. Rashawn Boykin has since then worked for Color Maria of Savannah, Ga., as a PHP E-commerce web developer where he developed and supported the CommerceV3, an online merchant solution for many local and national online businesses. After gaining much experience of the online business environment, he moved back to his native Atlanta, Ga., where he worked for Securiant, Inc as a PHP Web developer. Here he expanded his knowledge of internet/network security by developing their flagship product The SpiderISA, a network security apparatus that performs network vulnerability and intrusion detection as well as network state and traffic monitoring. Rashawn joined the DVIDS team in July 2007 as a web developer.
