The Expert Soldier Badge Land Navigation (Day/Night) Assessment was held on
Monday, April 22nd on Camp Fuji, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.
Candidates demonstrated their individual proficiency in navigating
from one point to another, while dismounted, without the aid of electronic navigation devices.
This was just one event of a week's long worth of testing, with the goal to achieve the ESB.
