Global Medic is an annual medical exercise designed to replicate all aspects of combat service support on the battlefield and allow participating combat support units to train as they fight in a joint environment. Scenes include Lt. Col. Bernard Geiser, U.S. Army emergency room physician and 1st Lt. DeSantis, U.S. Army nurse, both from the 339th Combat Support Hospital (339th CSH) out of Ptttsburgh, Penn., treat and prep a mock patient to be operated on at the 2010 Global Medic exercise.
