26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)     

U.S. Marines and Sailors with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct a visit, board, search and seizure during Amphibious Ready Group/MEU Exercise (ARGMEUEX), Atlantic Ocean, April 29, 2023. Maritime Interception Operations are utilized to capture enemy vessels, combat terrorism, piracy, and smuggling. The Bataan ARG and 26th MEU provide geographic combatant commanders with a wide range of flexible capabilities including maritime security operations, crisis response, sea control, counter-terrorism, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
