Civilian contractors from Poland test mobile radios at Kozara Barracks, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sep. 9, 2009. Poland tests the JASMINE system in a mobile unit. The JASMINE is similar to the U.S. military's Blue Force Tracker system, which tracks the movement of troops on the battlefield. At the test site, Polish Army troops fix some cable wire. Inside the Polish trailer, troops and contractors test the JASMINE. At the single channel radio test room, multiple countries participate in testing their high radio frequency capabilities. Combined Endeavor 2009 is a Headquarters U.S. European Command sponsored communications and information systems interoperability test between and among Partnership for Peace, NATO and other nations, focusing on the deliberate planning process, communications information systems and human interoperability, and development of a road map for future improvement among participants. Produced by Staff Sgt. Burt Traynor, U.S. Air Force.
