Alaska National Guardsmen from the 207th Engineer Utilities Detachment conducted training on ice bridging at Walden Lake on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in January. The training also incorporated arctic mobility with snow shoeing and cold weather survival skills taught by an Alaska Air National Guard 176th Wing Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape or SERE instructor.
