The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District is already preparing for the 2015 construction season. In 2015 the Cleveland and Oswego harbor breakwaters will be repaired using dolos that are currently being constructed.
A dolos is a concrete block in a complex geometric shape used in great numbers to protect harbor walls from the erosive force of wave action.
