U.S. Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs, Charles Rivkin, Hosts the 2014 Secretary of State Award for Corporate Excellence Ceremony in the Benjamin Franklin Room at the U.S. Department of State, Wash. D.C. Remarks: Charles H. Rivkin, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs. Charles Rivkin, who stepped in on behalf of Secretary Kerry who was pulled away on an urgent issue, was joined by Keynote Speaker the U.S. Under Secretary Cathy Novelli who, like Ambassador Rivkin, represents the Department on issues ranging from energy, trade, agriculture, and aviation to bilateral relations with America's economic partners. The State Department's 16th annual Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence, or “ACE.” also marks the first time the awards ceremony was broadcast Worldwide, in HD. Several embassies and some U.S. Companies gathered in the Ben Franklin Room to honor American companies that have shown themselves to be among the best American companies.
