Five Kiowa Warrior helicopters flew for the final time, after years of combat service, because the air frame is transitioning out of use by the U.S. Army. Soldiers of C Troop, 1st Squadron, 17th Air Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division flew an emotional, final flight from Bagram Airfield and back, while demonstrating the helicopter's capabilities, as a tribute to the Kiowas. Includes sound bites from Capt. Matthew Niagro, Troop Commander, C Troop, 1st Squadron, 17th Air Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. Also available in high definition.
