U.S. Marines assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines participate in a tactical recovery of aircraft and personel mission while taking part in Exercise Bold Alligator at Atlantic Airfield, N.C., Nov. 06, 2014. The intent of the mission was to simulate the extracting of sensitive material from a crash site to prevent others from gaining access to classified material. Exercise Bold Alligator is made up of exercises and training scenarios strengthening amphibious operations, focused on readiness and cooperation with mulit-national partners.
