Fire Department of New York (FDNY) and the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) welcomes the arrival of the newest monument to be displayed in the Semper Fidelis memorial Park at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Va. on October 04, 2014. The NMMC dedicated a monument in honor of the seventeen New York City firefighters who died on September 11, 2001 and were also Marines. A total of 343 firefighters died that day.
