Hawaii Governor, Neil Abercrombie, Adjutant General, Major General Major General Darryl Wong and Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, Administrator Doug Mayne, flew from Honolulu to Hilo in one of Hawaii Army National Guard’s Blackhawk Helicopters. During their damage assessment tour they viewed damaged areas from the ground and air, and visited with families hardest hit by Iselle.
