Camp Atterbury held a Commemorative Service at the Veterans Memorial, August 10th, in honor of the servicemen and women who have come through Camp Atterbury over the years. Retired COL Marjorie Courtney gave a moving speech about the history of the flag, and what it means to the soldiers. The Southern Indiana Pip and Drum group featured it's bagpipe tunes, along with dual Taps by Harry Westcott and Steve Brown.
