California Army National Guard Soldiers from 340th Brigade Support Battalion, based in Seaside, and the 224th Sustainment Brigade, based in Long Beach train with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection on Aug. 7 at Camp Roberts. The Soldiers were preparing to mobilize as Task Force 340th to serve as hand crews putting out wild fires around the state.
