On 17 April 2014, The Marines of VMFA-251 participate in a field meet at the track aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort to build unit camaraderie before starting off the 72 hour holiday weekend. During this event VMFA 251 was split into teams to compete against each other in the activities such as tug-of-war, egg tossing, and team sports.
