U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ), John Barrasso (R-WY) and John Hoeven (R-ND) visited the Marines of Black Sea Rotational Force 14.2 at Camp Adazi, Latvia, April 15, 2014. The U.S. senators were given a briefing by Lt. Gen. Raimonds Graube, Latvia's Chief of Defense, Lt. Col. Gunars Kaulins, Summer Shield's exercise director, and U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Trevor Hall, the commanding officer of 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment. The senators were also shown a live ammo demonstration featuring a Javelin missile.
