Athletes compete in track and field during the 2014 Marine Corps Trials. The fourth annual Marine Corps Trials is being held at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 4-12. More than 300 athletes from Wounded Warrior Battalion East, Wounded Warrior Battalion West, international allies and veterans will compete in the Paralympic-style competition including archery, cycling, shooting, swimming, track, field, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair basketball. The Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment enables wounded, ill, or injured Marines to focus on their abilities and to find new avenues to thrive.
