February marks national African American history month and at Camp Casey’s warrior’s club, the 2-10th Fires Brigade hosts an observance for more than 100 soldiers.
Attendants listened to the inspiring words of an accomplished special guest speaker from Camp Red Cloud, LTC Charlone Stallworth.
SUGGESTED LEAD:
Our nation’s history is marked with distinct heritage and at the Camp Casey’s warrior’s club, soldiers gather to honor a specific heritage. Specialist Pedro Amador reports.
SUGGESTED TAG:
The army disbanded the all-black 24th Infantry Regiment in October of 1951, thus eliminating segregation in the Army.
