JUNEAU, Alaska - A Sitka based Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter crew safely transfers a 58-year old man from Skagway to emergency medical services personnel in Juneau, Alaska after medevacing him from the Skagway clinic because he was reportedly unconscious Jan. 23, 2011. In Alaska, the Coast Guard is often relied on to transfer people from remote clinics to hospitals in bigger towns due to the often inclement weather which doesn't allow civilian medical flights to render assistance.
