The Coast Guard responded to a fire onboard the fishing vessel Master Ryan 10-miles off the coast of Galveston, Texas, Dec. 6, 2008.

Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston received a call from the lift boat A.J. Burios around 9 a.m. reporting the fire and that three people were onboard the shrimp boat.

The Coast Guard dispatched an MH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter, a 47-foot motor life boat and the Coast Guard Cutter Manowar to assist.
