  • The Naval Safety Center Tips spots were started to provide Sailors and Marines with short, useful tidbits of information that coould keep them safe. The "Motorcycle Gouge" is a sub-series withing the NSC Tips dedicated to motorcycle awareness. This spot is the first in that sub-series. Enjoy.

  • Don Borkoski, motorcycle safety analyst/manager at the Naval Safety Center, presents the third "Motorcycle Gouge." This time he talks about brakes and braking. Getting the bike to stop, and doing it correctly, is an important part of riding. Enjoy.
  • Military members and their families joined together to ride and enjoy fellowship while practicing motorcycle safety. 65 participants started in Shawnee, Okla. and rode through several towns before making their way back to the start line.
