Integration exercise for 181 IW Weather, Intelligence, TACPs as well as 122 FW A-10s and Ind. Civil Air Patrol aircraft. Training increases the Ind. ANG capability to respond to the federal and state missions. CAP aircraqft provided video and imagery feeds to analysts, who then provided the information to the TACPs as they coordinated air support mission with the A-10s. Weather provided ground and aerial assets the required updated throughout the exercise. These skills are easily transferable to assist during local disasters. Available in High Definition.

  • TERRE HAUTE, Ind.— The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and Airmen from the 181st Intelligence Wing, Indiana Air National Guard, are currently conducting training missions to test the combined capability of both organizations to provide Incident Awareness and Assessment (IAA) to civilian disaster first responders.
  • The 181st Intelligence Wing Indiana Air National Guard participated in Operation Blue Sky. Operation Blue Sky was a domestic IAA mission to assit Ind. Dept Homeland Security. This was the first IAA mission ever flown by the 181 IW in support of domestic operations.
