This is an original song by Katelyn Bassett, and actual video footage and photos of troops in contact situations. The video, produced by Kevin Wallace, is dedicated to Army CPT Micah Anderson, who lost both legs in Afghanistan, and to all veterans of Bala Murghab. The song was recorded during a Veterans Day ceremony in Nampa, Idaho, Nov. 11, 2013, and was dedicated publicly. The deployed footage and photos from BMG were primarily shot during 2010 and 2011, though service members fought in the Murghab Valley from 2008 through early 2012. (Video by Master Sgt. Kevin Wallace)
