  • Approximately 50 soldiers with the Arkansas National Guard's Detachment 1, Company B, 449th Aviation Intermediate Maintenance of the Camp Robinson-based 77th Theater Aviation Brigade departed  the state for training at Fort Hood, Texas, in preparation for deployment to Kuwait with an aviation maintenance mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The unit will conduct a brief training period at Fort Hood, Texas, prior to deployment overseas.  The total mobilization time for the unit is anticipated to be one year. With this mobilization, the Arkansas National Guard will have a total of approximately 300 Soldiers and Airmen mobilized in support of operations overseas.  **no audio**
