B-roll of opening ceremony for the 9th annual US-China Disaster Management Exchange at Marine Corps Training Area-Bellows in Hawaii. US Army-Pacific hosted 60 People's Liberation Army personnel who will exchange information with their US counterparts during the three-day event. Exchange also included American and Chinese personnel familiarizing each other with search and rescue equipment used during disaster relief, as well as academic exchanges on response to disasters. The event is designed to enhance the ability of US and Chinese forces to work together bilaterally when responding to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in the Asia-Pacific.
