Taylor Bates, an Annapolis, Md. native and platoon commander with Transportation Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, Regional Command (Southwest), describes her platoon's first solo convoy operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan, since the assumption of responsibilities by Combat Logistics Battalion 6 personnel July 25, 2013. Bates assisted in the resupply of several forward operating bases supporting Marines in the province. Also available in high definition.
