  • Companie de Fusilier Marine Commandos were recognized for completing the light infantry and maritime security training taught by Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa Marines and Sailors May9, 2013, after five weeks of training. The week leading up to the graduation the commandos were tested on their retention of the training without assistance from the instructors. Special-Purpose MAGTF Africa strengthens U.S. Marine Corps Forces Africa and U.S. Africa Command’s ability to assist partner nations.
