On May 23, 2013, a detachment from 5th Marine Regiment visit the Museum of the Naval Troops at Ferjus, France. The Marines are participating in a bilateral training with the French 21st Marine Infantry Regiment (21E RIMA), 6th Light Armored Brigade (6E BLB), to further enhance the "partnership agreement" between the Marine Corps and the 6E BLB.
