U.S. and Thai service members conducted a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel training event Feb. 15 at Nakhon Ratchasima, Kingdom of Thailand during exercise Cobra Gold 2013. The training was conducted for the pilots to maintain their knowledge and work together in the event that they become a downed pilot. The U.S. service members are with Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The Thai service member is with Squadron 401, Royal Thai Air Force.
