Video: Indiana Pacers and the IN National Guard celebrate "Christmas in July" Story

The Indiana Pacers and toy distributer JAKKS Pacific will partner the Indiana National Guard and its Hoosier Youth Challenge Academy to bring Christmas in July to Indiana youth and Henryville children who were affected by the tornadoes in March. Pacers Head Coach Frank Vogel, Fever Head Coach Lin Dunn and the teams mascots, Boomer and Freddy, will assist Indiana National Guardsmen and Youth Challenge Cadets as they prepare donated toys for distribution. Youth Challenge graduates will be present to discuss the extraordinary opportunities they’ve had after attending the Hoosier Youth Challenge Academy. The HYCA cadets will then deliver the toys to Indiana communities, including Henryville, Ind. and Knightstown, Ind.
