Vibrant Response is an exercise conducted by United States Army North, or the Fifth Army. It is responsible for homeland defense and defense support of civil authorities as the joint force land component command of United States Northern Command. U.S. Army North in conjunction with the Indiana National Guard will host more than 9,000 military and civilian personnel from around the country to take part in the Federal emergency response exercise, Vibrant Response July 25 through Aug 13th at both Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center and Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex. The surrounding community should expect an increase in military vehicle and air traffic during this period.
