Wyoming Army National Guard soldiers with C Company, 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, executes its first training mission of a 72-hour operation between Cheyenne and Camp Guernsey, Wyo., training included landing in a simulated combat zone to retrieve a patient on a litter and transport to a medical facility. The unit was supported by Soldiers from the 960th Brigade Support Battalion, calling for the evacuation. C Company flies UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and recently completed three rotations to Operation Enduring Freedom to provide medical evacuation support in Afghanistan.
