Air Crew from Hawaii Air National Guard and Soldiers from Hawaii’s CERFP Search and rescue team load truck and trailers in to a C-17 in a mock deployment for an off island disaster. The cargo was transported from Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam to Kaneohe Marine Corp Base, then off loaded and driven to and set up in the training area. This equipment will serve as a command center and medical treatment area for the disaster. Many of the CERFP soldiers we deployed to Samoa for the Earthquake and Tsunami in 2009 SOT.
