U.S. Marines with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 6 conduct a helo-bourne operation in the village of Sabzikar, Helmand province, Afghanistan May 1, 2012. Operation Reservoir Dogs was a 24 hour operation that was designed to maintain pressure as well as degrade the enemy's command and control capabilities in the region, during the operation the Marines encounter heavy enemy resistance throughout the day.
