U.S. soldiers from the 1-27th Infantry Battalion join some of their Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment counterparts to sweep a road for improvised explosive devices during a training mission. Alam Halfa is the first time U.S. forces have trained on New Zealand soil in over 25 years. The exercise gave both sides an opportunity to exchange tactics and procedures as well as cooperate on infantry training missions. Produced by Tech. Sgt. Michael Jackson.
