  • 1st Brigade, 205th Afghan National Army Corps and Afghan Uniform Police from Dand, Daman, and Panjwa’i Districts completed the second day of security operations in Southern Kandahar Province, April 02, 2012.  Footage includes Brigadier Gen. Habibi, commander of 1/205th with soldiers near Kenjakak village in the Panjwa’i District and one of the three weapons caches discovered by Afghan forces. This operation is the second major brigade-level operation in Southern Afghanistan in which the Afghan forces planned, coordinated and executed the operation independent of their ISAF partners, validating the Afghan Security Forces’ ability to transition security operations as ISAF prepares to drawdown.
