Silver Scimitar 2012, the largest theater-level human resources exercise in the U.S. Army, kicked off on Jan. 21, with hands-on training to challenge Soldiers from over 20 units around the country. The two-week exercise tailors training to Soldiers who take care of pay, mail, and other critical services. Soldiers put to practice what they learn, taking part in various scenarios that recreate the stress of a battlefield environment. Includes sound bites from Larry Vann, Silver Scimitar Instructor, and Master Sgt. Porter Washington, Instructor for the National Guard Bureau.
