There’s a group of sailors in Yokosuka who’ve been answering phone calls almost non-stop for the community after the natural disaster in Japan. They are the family assistant center, called ‘FAC’ , and their job is to relay official information to people who have specific questions about everything from what services are still being offered on base to voluntary departure. Includes sound bites from Petty Officer 3rd Class Kristopher Satcher, Family Assistance Center and Petty Officer 3rd Class Meshach Rivera, Family Assistance Center. Produced by Petty Officer 2nd Class Adam York. jpearthquake11
