The shout out is an event where two athletes share a firing position, shooting at the standard five target biathlon setup. The shooter on the right side aims for the two targets on the right, the shooter on the left shoots at the left side targets. The first firer to reach and hit the middle target wins that match. It is a fast paced event with all 20 firing positions starting at the same time. At the end there are only two competitors left, in this case Colorado and North Dakota. Produced by Sgt.
