For the past five years, service members from a small country approximately the size of South Carolina have been providing vital security for one of Iraq’s major source of power, the Haditha Dam.
Marines with Regimental Combat Team 5 finished the final demilitarization of the Haditha Dam located along the Euphrates River. 
Reserve Marines from 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 based here received an honored guest at their remote desert outpost Nov. 26. 
Reserve Marines from Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 shared the tradition of Thanksgiving fellowship with the Iraqi Highway Patrol at a remote desert police station Nov. 23.
