Change of command ceremonies are more than just standing in long formations and listening to lengthy speeches.
The students taking courses at the Combat Skills Training School don't doubt their teacher's knowledge, but it's hard to see the man behind the information as a decorated combat veteran.
Many things end up broken in one way or another, but someone is usually around to fix the problem. Vehicles have mechanics, sinks have plumbers and Marines have corpsmen.
